Problem
Bain Capital Ventures, the venture arm of Bain Capital, underwent a rebranding effort in the summer of 2022. However, they found that the new brand lacked excitement and uniqueness. As they focus on investing in younger companies, they wanted to gradually enhance their brand to create a distinct and less corporate identity that truly reflects their vision.
Solution
The challenge was to leverage their existing assets while gradually introducing a new look and feel. Rather than pursuing another complete rebrand, I have been collaborating closely with their marketing team to strategically release assets that establish a distinctive appearance. We began by designing blog images, social media graphics, and internal swag. Additionally, I worked on various elements such as slides, event signage, micro-sites, and a logo for their executive recruitment program.
